Education:Â Â
The Education Committee oversees programming for children, birth-6th grades, including Sunday school.
Â
Youth:Â
The Youth Committee provides an outreach to our 7th-12th graders as they transition from traditional Sunday school to confirmation to high school to adult life.
Food Support and Other Resources
Feed My Starving Children—Ongoing as scheduled
Helping to package nutrition packed meals for children starving in other countries. Contact either the Education and Youth CommissionsÂ
Food Drive for Keystone Community Services—Ongoing
Helping to collect canned and boxed food donations from the church to take to the local food bank. Â

Red Cross Blood Drives
Helping to run one of SAPLC’s three annual blood drives by bringing food and/or assisting blood donors and/or Red Cross staff. Contact Joy Albrecht, (651) 644-8833.

Refugee and Immigration Team—Ongoing
Providing direct aid to our refugee and immigrant siblings; volunteering with our local ministry partners. Contact: Lisa Sackreiter
Community and Connection
Care Team Ministry—Ongoing
Helping church members undergoing difficulties or in times of transition by bringing meals, giving rides, etc. Contact: Jean Bendt, SAPLC Parish Nurse.

W/ELCA—Ongoing
Helping with a variety of projects, including selling fair trade coffee to raise money, organizing one-time drives for Lutheran World Relief drives, etc. Contact: Joy Albrecht, (651) 644-8833.

Connection and Belonging:Â
Responsible for managing the church's House system, which provides avenues for connection and belonging among members and visitors.

Stewardship:Â
This committee manages the church's annual Stewardship campaign and helps communicate and reinforce the importance of financial and personal stewardship in the life of our congregation.

Creative and Hands On
Habitat for Humanity—Summer
Helping to build affordable houses for low income families. Contact:Â Elizabeth LeeÂ

Quilters—Ongoing
Helping to sew quilts for people in need around the world, especially refugees or others who have lost their homes.Â

Building Maintenance (BMC):Â
The BMC Committee is responsible for overall maintenance of the church building.

Worship/Music/Arts (WMA):Â
The WMA Committee supports our music and choir programs as well as makes recommendations for worship services.
