Welcome Statement

Welcome, unique and beloved child of God.

St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church is a Christ-centered community striving to love each other and the world more boldly. We are people of strong, uncertain, and undiscovered faith. We vary in age, family structure, physical and mental ability, and economic circumstance. We are diverse in sexual orientation, gender expression, and gender identity. We differ in appearance, ethnicity, and culture. Gifted and imperfect, wounded and healing, we are made whole by God’s infinite love and grace. We invite you to experience that love and grace with us, to find rest here, find a family, and be fed. We promise to honor your unique experience and gifts as we journey together in Christ, embracing the work of anti-racism, LGBTQIA+ rights, social and economic justice, and environmental care, to mend and heal a broken world for the glory of God.

Welcome, unique and beloved child of God.

R.I.C  Congregation

On Sunday, May 22nd (2022), St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church joyfully passed a new welcoming statement and also became an official Reconciling in Christ Congregation! We celebrate this news as we aspire to continue the work of welcoming, including, celebrating, and advocating for LGBTQIA+ people and the BIPOC community in our church, and in the wider community. We give thanks for our R.I.C. team who diligently led SAPLC through this process, as well as for our members who learned, prayed, wrote, asked questions, gathered support, and leaned on the power of God’s love.
