God has made humans to be in relationships – to be connected to one another. We all seek companionship, meaning, conversation and a place to belong.
At St. Anthony Park Lutheran Church, we gather together to be refreshed, to learn and grow, and to serve others. We also gather to meet and connect with God. We hear stories of faith, promises of love and experience forgiveness and new life.We bring our hopes and fears, our doubts, questions and wonder. Together we learn what God is up to in the world. There's a place for you here; come get connected.

Lenten Worship - Beneath the Tree of Life
During our Wednesday Lenten worship we will explore the Bible, finding the roots and fruits of the Cross of Christ. Old Testament stories and songs, New Testament declarations will work together to deepen our faith and knowledge.
The crucifixion is God’s decisive act of self-giving love, given through Jesus. The cross is the center of our faith and theology and is foreshadowed in stories from before the time of Jesus and interpreted by evangelists who preserved the gospel message for us. The Theology of the Cross is a distinctive Lutheran theme for interpreting Good News in a broken world.
Texts from Genesis to John will be illuminated by our preachers: Dr. Patricia Lull, who is Executive Director of the St. Paul Area Conference of Churches, our own Sister Becky Swanson, and Pastors and Professors Hans Wiersma, Craig Koester, and Fred Gaiser.
Once again we will use the meditative songs of the Taize community to create a quiet experience of prayer, proclamation and praise. Please join us every Wednesday evening in Lent. Ash Wednesday is February 22, and the Lenten series will continue February 29 and all the Wednesdays in March. Worship begins at 7:00 p.m. Remember that you may come early for the soup suppers (5:00 p.m.), which raise funds for youth ministry.
